Non-Alcoholic Terms

De-alcoholised wine is produced similarly to regular wine, going through the fermentation process to develop complex flavours. Near the end of the winemaking process, the alcohol is removed using advanced technology, leaving a wine with either no alcohol or very minimal traces.

To label a wine as de-alcoholised or non-alcoholic, it must contain less than 0.5% alcohol by volume. This small amount is a residual trace that occurs naturally, and such wines still qualify as "non-alcoholic" under labeling requirements.

No, de-alcoholised wine contains little to no alcohol (under 0.5%), meaning it won’t cause a hangover, dehydration, or affect you in the same way. You can enjoy the taste of wine without worrying about alcohol-related side effects.

Non-alcoholic refers to beverages containing up to 0.5% alcohol by volume, including de-alcoholised wines and some beers.

Alcohol-free drinks are created without fermentation or traditional alcohol-producing methods, ensuring they contain no alcohol at all.
